REDUCING THE INVISIBLE THREAT OF INFECTION IN FIRE & EMS PERSONNEL

See how WPFD reduced unscheduled leave by over 34%

“Our analysis shows that since the introduction of regular, enhanced infection control procedures utilizing the AeroClave system, we have witnessed an approximate 34% decrease in UTO from previous years.”

Hospitals and Emergency Rooms in partnership with AeroClave Decontamination

For nearly a decade, AeroClave has actively worked with State and local public safety organizations to bolster decontamination capabilities and to elevate public health. The AeroClave decontamination standard has been embraced and adopted rapidly among public safety innovators.

Comparison of Ambulance Cleaning Methods

Enhanced disinfection practices substantially and uniformly reduce biologic load on surfaces.
This study was designed to compare the effectiveness of manual cleaning of the patient compartment of ambulances versus using an automatic decontamination system developed by AeroClave, LLC. Using a commercial luminometer to measure for adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels, the results showed an average 90% reduction in ATP levels between pre-cleaning and AeroClave treatment.

Combating the invisible threat

The Winter Park Police Department, in cooperation with AeroClave, LLC, has installed a highly automated decontamination system that allows for routine and emergent high-level disinfection of jail cells, booking areas, police vehicles, evidence processing rooms, K9 kennels and gymnasium. The system is highly integrated with existing HVAC and access control systems within the Winter Park Public Safety complex.

Effectiveness of Ultraviolet Devices and Fogging Systems for Room Decontamination

Maintaining cleanliness within a healthcare facility is a top priority for patients, staff, and healthcare systems. The need to address Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) remains a top industry priority1, as they are an important source of patient morbidity and mortality2.
