World’s First Large-scale Multi-vehicle Drive-thru Decontamination Facility

AeroClave has completed construction and validation of the world’s first large-scale multi-vehicle drive-thru decontamination facility.

Located in Orlando, Florida, the facility is capable of simultaneously decontaminating multiple types of vehicles including ambulances, school busses, trucks and trailers to a 6-log reduction in less than 3 hours.

The process, validated by the use of geobacillus stearothermophilus as the biologic indicators, showed the AeroClave process could cost-effectively decontaminate the interior and exteriors of multiple vehicles simultaneously to a level equated to surgical sterility.
